  • 3 tablespoons raspberry preserves Can be substituted with raspberry jam.
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced red pear Choose firm pears to avoid mushiness.
  • 8 slices cooked bacon Cook until crisp for best texture.
  • 4 slices Muenster cheese Melts smoothly and pairs well with the filling.
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons butter For grilling; spread thinly and evenly.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat griddle or panini press to medium-high heat.
  2. Spread 1 1/2 tablespoons raspberry preserves on one side of each bread slice.
  3. Place pear slices on two bread slices over the jam.
  4. Add 4 slices of bacon over the pear on each sandwich.
  5. Top each with 2 slices of Muenster cheese and the other bread slice, jam side down.
  6. Spread butter on the top and bottom of each sandwich.
Cooking
  1. Grill sandwiches for 4 to 8 minutes, flipping if needed, until cheese melts and top is golden brown.
