Ingredients

Matcha Latte
  • 1-2 tablespoons matcha of choice
  • 1/4 cup hot water
  • 1/2 to 3/4 cup oat milk
Blueberry Syrup
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen blueberries
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons warm water

Method

Blueberry Syrup Preparation
  1. Place the frozen blueberries in a large jar and add the sugar and water. Refrigerate for 4-6 hours or overnight to allow the berries to release their juices.
  2. Stir the blueberry mixture well after resting and add a little more water if a less sweet syrup is desired. For a quicker option, use thawed berries and muddle them, or use the purple juices released from melted blueberries.
Matcha Preparation
  1. Warm the water in a small jar with a lid. Add the matcha, cover, and shake until the mixture is smooth.
Assembly
  1. Fill a large glass with ice. Pour in the matcha mixture, then add the oat milk.
  2. Pour 1-2 tablespoons of blueberry syrup into the glass. Stir before serving to combine the flavors.

Notes

For matcha measurements, use about double the amount recommended on the matcha packaging for a more concentrated matcha flavor. Follow the recommendation for the brand you are using and adjust the strength as desired.
