Ingredients

  • one 5.4 oz / 155 g wheel of Boursin cheese (garlic herb flavor)
Topping
  • 1/2 cup roasted salted shelled pistachios, chopped or crushed (about 1/4 cup crushed)
  • 3-4 tablespoons hot honey
Serving
  • crackers or apple slices for dipping

Method

Preparation
  1. Allow the Boursin cheese to sit at room temperature for 15 minutes to soften slightly for easier spreading.
  2. Place the cheese on a serving plate or platter and use the back of a spoon to spread it into an even layer.
  3. Scatter the chopped or crushed pistachios over the cheese, then drizzle the hot honey across the top.
  4. Serve the appetizer with crackers or apple slices, adding a small spoon for spreading if desired.

Notes

Crackers: A flat garlic thyme cracker works well, but this dip pairs nicely with many types of crackers. Chopper: A small chopper makes it quick and easy to crush or chop nuts and can also be useful for sauces and vegetables.
