Preparation
- Mix the ground turkey, garlic, chipotles, chili powder, salt, and pepper together until well incorporated.
- Let the mixture sit for several hours or overnight.
- Form into 4 patties, making a dent with your thumb in the bottom side of each burger.
Cooking
- Preheat the grill to medium high heat.
- Grill the patties dent side down, without pressing on them.
- Flip after a few minutes and cook until no longer pink.
Serving
- Serve the burgers hot from the grill with a smear of avocado and a topping of nectarine salsa.
Notes
Refrigerate cooked patties for up to 3 days. For storage, raw patties can be kept covered in the fridge for 24 hours or frozen for up to 3 months.
