Ingredients
  

For the dressing
  • 1 bunch cilantro (about 1 cup packed) Use fresh cilantro for best flavor.
  • 1 clove garlic Use fresh garlic for optimal taste.
  • 3 tablespoons plain yogurt Greek or regular yogurt can be used.
  • 2.5 tablespoons olive oil Add more for richer flavor if desired.
  • 1 teaspoon honey Add to balance acidity from lime.
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice Fresh lime juice is recommended.
  • 1 teaspoon salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon sugar (optional) Add for sweetness if desired.
  • 3 teaspoons water (optional) Add to thin the dressing if needed.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place all ingredients in a food processor.
  2. Pulse until smooth. Taste and adjust seasonings to your liking.
  3. Add the sugar if you want it a little sweeter.
  4. Add water if you want a thinner dressing.
  5. Serve as a dressing with salads, fish, chicken, or grilled vegetables!

Notes

Store the dressing in an airtight container in the refrigerator. It will keep for 4–5 days. Stir or whisk before serving if it thickens too much.
