- Place spinach in the blender so it sits at the bottom.
- Add bananas, cottage cheese, milk, and flaxseed meal in that order.
- Blend the ingredients until the mixture is smooth.
- If desired, add ice cubes and blend until no ice chunks remain.
- Pour into a tall glass and serve immediately for best texture.
- Garnish with banana slices on top, if desired.
Notes
Store any leftover smoothie in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Shake or stir before serving.
