Preparation
- Dice the nectarine.
- Add sugar if the nectarine isn’t very juicy and let sit for a few minutes.
- Add the diced red onion and minced jalapeño.
- Stir in honey and lime juice.
- Add a sprinkle of salt or sugar depending on desired flavor.
- Just before serving, cut the basil into ribbons and sprinkle over the top.
Notes
Store salsa in an airtight container for 2 to 3 days in the refrigerator. Do not freeze, as it ruins the texture of the fruit.
