Preparation
- Place the beans or chickpeas in a food processor.
- Add peanut butter, caramel sauce, maple syrup, brown sugar, and a pinch of cinnamon to the processor.
- Pour in the milk.
- Blend until the mixture is smooth.
- Add flour by the spoonful and blend after each addition until you reach the desired thickness.
- Stir in the chopped dark chocolate.
- Chill the hummus in the fridge before serving.
Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 4-5 days. If it thickens, stir in a teaspoon of milk to loosen before serving. For dairy-free, substitute with plant milk.
