  • 1 piece frozen waffle Choose a Belgian-style waffle for best texture.
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese Use small curds for better spreadability.
  • 1 cup sliced fruit (strawberries, bananas, peaches, blueberries, etc) Use any ripe fruit, pat dry if very juicy.
  • to taste tablespoon honey or sugar (optional) Warm honey for better drizzle.

Preparation
  1. Toast the frozen waffle until the edges are crisp.
  2. Top the toasted waffle with a thin layer of cottage cheese.
  3. Add sliced fruit on top of the cottage cheese.
  4. Drizzle with honey or sprinkle with sugar, if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

Serve immediately while warm; pair with coffee or tea for breakfast. For a richer taste, add nut butter under the cottage cheese or use Greek yogurt instead.
